ABOUT US

JSan is a Japanese restaurant and gastropub redefining the Indian culinary scene with authentic flavors inspired by Japan's ramen shops and Izakayas. Rooted in the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, our space celebrates harmony, simplicity, and the beauty of imperfections. Passing through our Tori gates, you step into a serene sanctuary. The J in JSan is derived from Jawarani, a family name we are immensely proud of. It also symbolizes an abstract form of the Tori Gate, found at the entrance of Japanese shrines. Founded by Chef Vishesh Jawarani, JSan is a tribute to family, tradition, and passion. As Chef Vishesh says, “At JSan, we serve love, care, and a whole lot of heart.”

CRAFTED IN THE KITCHEN

At JSan, we take pride in serving the best ramen in India, crafted with precision and authenticity. Our 2-day Yobimodoshi-inspired broth, handcrafted noodles, 8-hour pork belly, and 24-hour marinated soy eggs create a rich, velvety ramen experience.

As an izakaya, we offer Japanese classics like Gyoza, Karaage, and Yakisoba, alongside experimental dishes like Crudo and Tataki, perfectly paired with our crafted cocktails.

FRESH INGREDIENTS

At JSan, we prioritize authentic Japanese flavors while supporting local suppliers. Our carefully curated ingredients include premium pork for our ramen and chashu, sashimi-grade Salmon, Tuna, and Hamachi, as well as the freshest local produce.

We use specially selected soy sauces, vinegars, and a custom flour blend to perfect our ramen noodles, ensuring an authentic experience. Our menu celebrates the simplicity of top-quality ingredients paired with intricate culinary techniques.

“I have always been passionate about Japanese culinary skills and for me Ramen is simply unparalleled. It is one of the most versatile dishes. There are no real rules to the flavor palate-as long as you follow the basic fundamentals, you have the freedom to create your own type of ramen, one that is representative of your style.”
